frog,snails & puppy dog tails

One of twelve will have a home with us in the weeks to come. The father (Max, German Shepherd) anxiously waits at the back door as the mother (Scout, Lab) feeds the litter, storing up energy for the days to come. Can you imagine the pitter-patter of 48 little paws!

i wanna be a pilot

You can't accuse Riley of being a slouch. Whenever we venture out with daddy on his soaring expeditions, you can always count on Riley to be a top-notch crew member. If she isn't making her rounds as the airport greeter, you can find her wiping bugs off gliders or sometimes digging RVs out of the sand. One day, her father will repay her when it's her turn to be the pilot.

Riley's been paying her dues since she could walk. Here she is with another young crew, Jonathan.

mother's day

I don't recall a specific time for being taught how to embroidery. I do have fond memories watching my mom and grandmother sitting in the living room embroidering tea towels and pillowcases. I was more or less self-taught, but I can definitely say my mom was an inspiration. Here's wishing every mum in the world a happy mother's day. Have a great day with your loved ones. xoxo

write on!

A great way to spruce up garden pots and help identify homegrown seedlings. The chalkboard layer will wipe clean with a cloth for repeated uses. This also makes a fun summer project for kids!
